We're taking Virtual Learning one step further with a full on workshop you can join from home! These workshops are limited to a maximum of 100 participants so make sure to register!

Work with Children’s Museum Houston educators Jacob and Gretchen plan a mission to establish an outpost on Mars while using the browser-based digital design software TinkerCAD to create everything you need for the trip from Earth to Mars! This workshop is great for kids 8 and older.

HOURS & ADMISSION

  • Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
    Thursday, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
    Sunday, 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
    Closed Mondays. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Easter Sunday.  
  • General Admission: $17 per person and $16 for seniors 65 years and older. FREE for children under one and Museum Members. Free Hours: FREE FAMILY NIGHT: Thursdays 5 pm - 8 pm.

  • Parking fees: 1 hour - $8, 2 hours - $9, 3+ hours - $10. Metered and street parking are available around the Children's Museum Houston.
