Meditate through movement using Tai Chi Chuan, a Chinese exercise practiced in slow, relaxed, continuous motion. Its theory is based on the Yin/Yang philosophy. In practicing the forms of Tai Chi and breath coordination, you will learn to concentrate on your own mind and achieve physical and mental balance. Tai Chi is a tranquil way to gain vital energies.

George Hu

George Ling Hu, a master in Tai Chi Chuan, is a member of the Chinese Tai Chi Chuan Association, the National Kuo Shu Association of Taiwan, and the Taiwan Yoga Association. In addition, Master Hu completed his graduate studies in geology and mineralogy, and teaches Chi Kung and Internal style martial arts.

  • Do not park in the lot behind the MFAH building on weekdays before 5 pm. However, the museum does generously allow Jung Center patrons to park in the lot after 5 pm and on the weekend. Paid parking available in front of The Center and on Montrose in front of The Glassell School and the MFAH Administration Building. Parking is always at a premium in the Museum District during business hours, but parallel parking spaces can often be found in front of The Center and on Montrose in front of The Glassell School and the MFAH Administration Building.
