Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. The Man of Steel will “fly in” to the Children’s Museum of Houston this summer to celebrate his own birthday on Sat., June 27. Superman™ first appeared in Action Comics, on June 30, 1938.
SPECIAL EVENTS:
- Superman’s™ Birthday Bash: Kids can sing “Happy Birthday” to the Man of Steel and join him in a dance party. Event Time: 2 pm in the Alcove.
- “Forces Unite” Live Musical Production: Heroes and villains face-off against Dr. Boredom. Event Times: 11 am, Noon & 1 pm in the Brown Auditorium.

- Drippy Villains: Transform splats of color into wicked villains at Alexander Art Academy.

- Sky’s the Limit Thaumatrope: Help a superhero fly over the city at Junktion.

- Story Time: Check out Bob Graham’s “Max” flight story at Parent Resource Library.
