Guests are invited to join The Health Museum this summer for science spectaculars! Visitors can enjoy contests, events, activities, and Summer Discovery Camps all summer long!

Daily Summer Activities

Forces Unleashed Science Show - 11:00 am and 1:30 pm
For kids that have always wanted to be superheroes, now’s the chance! Kids can crush cans with ice, blast villains with air, and create lightning using hands and force! There will be no 11:00 am show on Sundays.

Cow Eye Dissection Demonstration - Noon
Did you know that everyone has a hole in their hands, and you actually see upside down? Learn about the complexities of the human eye in this live demonstration.

Sheep Heart Dissection Demonstration - 2:30 pm
What part of the body can encircle the Earth more than two times and carries gases? Learn how your blood flows and view a real human heart during the heart dissection.

HOURS & ADMISSION

  • Monday - Saturday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
    Thursday, 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
    Sunday, 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
    Special exhibits may require an additional fee
  • General Admission: $10 per adult; $8 per child (ages 3-12); $8 per senior (ages 65+); Free for members and children under 2 yrs. Free Hours: Free Family Thursdays 2 - 7 pm.

  • Parking for Museum visitors is $5. Parking for non-Museum visitors is $8. Parking for Museum members is $3. Enter the parking lot from Hermann Dr. Metered street parking is available on streets surrounding the Museum.
