07:00 PM – 08:50 PM

A Paris high school for young immigrants is the setting for this documentary the New York Times calls “an inspiring contemplation of the contemporary French melting pot.” Hailing from China, Ireland, Senegal, Morocco, Venezuela, Ukraine, and beyond, some of the 11- to 15-year-olds are political refugees, others are escaping economic hardship, and some are from families seeking a fresh start. Their personalities and determination shine through an extraordinary range of interactions featuring the new arrivals, their families, and their unflappable teacher.
