Join us for Photo Day!

Sunday, September 30, 2018
7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

Want a chance to get unique photos of our lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!)? Join us for Photo Day as we highlight a few of our exotic residents.

Photo Day allows photographers of all skill levels a chance to visit the Zoo and take great animal photos, all before the Zoo opens. Guests can enjoy the cooler morning weather and lighter crowd, plus see the animals at a time of day when they are most active. A Zookeeper will also be available to talk about our featured animals and answer any questions.

A light continental breakfast is provided for event guests. The Houston Zoo is making strides to reduce plastics, including bottled water, to help save animals like sea turtles in the wild.  Please bring your reusable water bottle with you to this event.

To ensure a great experience, please note that there will be walking for this event so event guests are encouraged to wear appropriate shoes.

This event is rain or shine. All activities are included in your ticket price. Space is limited so buy your tickets early!
