Problem solved, the problem is solved! The Children’s Museum of Houston has the answer to defeating Dr. Boredom during the Summer of Epic Adventure – Forces Unite. The star characters from the award-winning PBS Kids® animated series Peg + Cat will make a special weekend appearance at the Museum.

Peg + Cat sparks children’s curiosity about math and helps them develop skills and strategies for solving problems creatively in their daily lives.

About the Programs & Activities

ON-GOING ACTIVITIES:

Achi: Make three in a row with a strange twist to Tic-Tac-Toe at ExxonMobil Math Cart.
Circle Logic: Take the last piece off of the board at ExxonMobil Math Cart.
Magnetic Goo: Explore the magnetic properties of a Gooey-like substance at Science Station.
Magnet Float: Make a stack of magnets float in the air at Science Station.
Balancing Hex Nut: Balance tiny hex nuts on the edge of a drinking glass at Science Station.

HOURS & ADMISSION

Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Thursday, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Sunday, 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Closed Mondays. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Easter Sunday.
General Admission: $17 per person and $16 for seniors 65 years and older. FREE for children under one and Museum Members. Free Hours: FREE FAMILY NIGHT: Thursdays 5 pm - 8 pm.
