Problem solved, the problem is solved! The Children’s Museum of Houston has the answer to defeating Dr. Boredom during the Summer of Epic Adventure – Forces Unite. The star characters from the award-winning PBS Kids® animated series Peg + Cat will make a special weekend appearance at the Museum.
Peg + Cat sparks children’s curiosity about math and helps them develop skills and strategies for solving problems creatively in their daily lives.
About the Programs & Activities
ON-GOING ACTIVITIES:
- Achi: Make three in a row with a strange twist to Tic-Tac-Toe at ExxonMobil Math Cart.
- Circle Logic: Take the last piece off of the board at ExxonMobil Math Cart.
- Magnetic Goo: Explore the magnetic properties of a Gooey-like substance at Science Station.
- Magnet Float: Make a stack of magnets float in the air at Science Station.
- Balancing Hex Nut: Balance tiny hex nuts on the edge of a drinking glass at Science Station.
