Origami: Friday Folding: May 19
Friday, May. 19, 2017 – Friday, May. 19, 2017
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Ease into your weekend with the peaceful art of origami. Each Friday will feature one fun-to-fold and elegant intermediate origami model. No previous experience is necessary, but attention to detail is helpful. This meditative practice – part geometry, part Zen – will bring focus to your day and help create new neural pathways.
Joan has been leading origami workshops since 1996 through educational, private, and corporate organizations. She works as an artist and has devoted her career to the exploration of contemporary origami as fine art. She debuted her work in the windows of Tiffany & Co. in 1993. Her web site is joanson.com.
