The three most dominant and advanced civilizations that developed in the Americas prior to the arrival of the Europeans were the Aztecs, Maya, and Inca. Educators can explore the Hall of the Americas and engage in hands-on learning activities.
During Educator Late Nights, participants will enjoy the Houston Museum of Natural Science after hours as they participate in an exclusive Late Night experience designed specifically for Educators. In each fun-filled evening, they will work on hands-on activities to use in the classroom, have a catered dinner, and tour exhibits.
Check in begins at 4:30 pm, late night activities are from 5 pm – 11 pm. Complimentary parking in the HMNS Garage is included for all participants. 6 hours of CPE credit will be awarded to participants at the end of the event. Registration for the Educator Late Nights is restricted to Educators Only.
Participants must stay through the entire event to receive credit as partial credit is not available.
