Miniature-Design Workshop: Inspired by “Joris Laarman Lab”
Saturday, Jun. 30, 2018 – Saturday, Jun. 30, 2018
02:00 PM – 04:00 PM
US/Central
Inspired by the art on view in Joris Laarman Lab: Design in the Digital Age, this program for adults includes a talk about the innovative exhibition and an art-making session in the studio.
After a chat about the works of art represented in the exhibition, Glassell School of Art instructor Elena Lopez-Poirot demonstrates mixed-media construction techniques. Then, roll up your sleeves to create miniature interiors and furniture using everyday household items. You can bring your own materials, too! Raid your junk drawers at home for odds and ends to personalize your chair designs.
