10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
US/Central

EXPRESSIVE-ARTS-240X240 (1)

Be both creative and mindful as we create something beautiful from origami paper. We will repeat the same folding techniques until the process becomes easier, less stressful, and more soothing. Each session will present an opportunity to fold something fun and different.

Rie Kojima Angeli

Rie Kojima Angeli, LPC-Intern at the Center for Creative Resources, grew up in Japan where she learned and played with origami. As a therapist, she introduced origami to her clients in art therapy and was impressed by how it seemed to bring them into a state of mindfulness. Rie is passionate about integrating origami into the healing process.
