Join HCCC for an artist demonstration of piercing and sawing metal, inspired by works of art on view in Objects: Redux–How 50 Years Made Craft Contemporary. Learn how jewelers use tools like a flex-shaft drill and a hair-thin saw blade to cut shapes out of sheet metal with delicate precision. Explore these timeless metalsmithing tools and techniques, which are the foundation of any jeweler’s toolbox and craft practice.
