Bestowing Beauty: Masterpieces from Persian Lands features more than 100 works of art from a private collection that is on view publicly for the first time. The exhibition highlights the rich artistic and cultural heritage of Iranian civilization, with objects spanning the 6th to 19th centuries. The works include carpets, textiles, manuscripts, paintings, ceramics, lacquer, metalwork, scientific instruments, and jeweled objects.
Museum members are invited to reserve a spot for this one-hour tour to explore the exhibition together with a docent of the MFAH.
