Join Robert Hodge, a Houston-based artist featured at CAMH in 2014 with the exhibition Robert Hodge: Destroy and Rebuild on the occasion of the release of a new vinyl EP, Two & ½ Years.

Hear Hodge and his collaborators share the process of creating the album. Purchase the vinyl album in CAMH’s museum shop and have the opportunity to meet Hodge, ask questions, take photos, and get your album signed by the artist. Light fare provided.

About Robert Hodge
Robert Hodge is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice explores themes of memory and commemoration. Born in Houston, Texas and raised in the City’s Third Ward district, the artist studied visual at the Atlanta College of Art before returning to Houston. Hodge has exhibited his work in numerous national and international institutions including Project Row Houses in Houston, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Contemporary Arts Center of New Orleans, the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, and the Contemporary Museum of East Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. Named amongst Houston Press’ 100 Most Creative People in 2011, the artist has also received grants from the Houston Arts Alliance and The Idea Fund. Hodge recently received the Joan Mitchell Artist Grant and Young Master Prize in 2014. Hodge is currently an Artist In Nesting at non-profit design house Magpies & Peacocks in East of Downtown and is completed a residency at Art Pace San Antonio in March 2017. Hodge currently held a sold out show hosted at Arts + Leisure Gallery in New York City.
