Cody Duty

The Children’s Museum of Houston is under siege! It has been confirmed the Museum has been infiltrated by villains attempting to take over and destroy the exhibits – exhibits which belong to Houston's kids! You’re invited to enlist in the Special Elite Crime Resolution and Espionage Team (aka S.E.C.R.E.T.) to crack codes, uncover clues and outsmart villains.

S.E.C.R.E.T. is the Children’s Museum of Houston’s all-new interactive spy experience. This revolutionary experience is designed to take a child’s museum visit to the next level. Kids report to duty and are assigned to go on secret missions throughout the Museum. Using state-of-the-art technology, agents gear up to solve puzzles, discover hidden agendas and thwart the villains’ schemes. They help save the Museum, protecting ordinary citizens who are unaware of their covert operations! There’s currently nothing like it in Houston or in any children’s museum in the world!

About the Programs & Activities

TOP S.E.C.R.E.T.: S.O.S. (SUMMER OF SPIES)

The Children’s Museum of Houston needs your help this summer! Energy-emitting crystals were discovered during the Museum’s 2009 expansion. We formed the Special Elite Crime Resolution and Espionage Team (a.k.a S.E.C.R.E.T.) to manage the crystals in our possession for research and testing, with the energy from the crystals being routed throughout the Museum’s exhibits. The crystals have remained safe – UNTIL NOW.

Recently, the Museum endured several attempts to steal the crystals and its energy. The organization responsible is calling itself the Ridiculously Intelligent Villainous Agent League (R.I.V.A.L.) They are under the leadership of the villainous (and annoying) Arcturus Vex who wants to harness the crystals’ energy for his own schemes.

S.O.S.! Heed the call! Don’t miss interactive activities, epic performances, character appearances and extraordinary events during Top S.E.C.R.E.T.: S.O.S. (Summer of Spies), now through Sept. 5, 2016, and make this one the most action-packed summer yet!

Daily Summer Spy Adventures Include:

  • Get your Gear On: Agents can’t rely on their skills alone – they’ve got to look the part! Design your spy disguises, including your own looks, emblem, gadgets, vehicles and more.
  • Spy Stations: It takes physical, mental and creative training to be a super spy! We will put you through all of them all summer long.
  • “Under Siege” Live Production (Now – Aug. 13) – Don’t miss an action packed adventure complete with S.E.C.R.E.T.’s origin story! Event Times: Mon.– Sat.: 11:30 am , 1:30 and 3:30 pm; Sundays: 1:30, 3 and 4 pm in Brown Auditorium.
