Cardboard Garland Project
✶✶ Great for kids aged 3+ ✶✶

Materials:
✶ Recycled cardboard, such as cereal box
✶ Any paint around your house
✶ Paint brush
✶ Markers
✶ Holepunch
✶ String

Steps:
1. Find recycled cardboard that would normally go into trash.
2. Disassemble materials so that they are flat.
3. Use kid friendly scissors to cut out your favorite shapes.
4. Paint your shapes with any leftover paint you have around your house. Be sure to let your shapes dry before the next step.
5. Use a hole puncher to make the holes at the top corners of each shape.
6. Add patterns and colors to each shape with markers. Add as much detail as you want!
7. Find some string and thread it through each of your pieces.
8. Hang it and enjoy! (Don't forget to share #craftwithhccc @crafthouston)
