Fear is a common emotion. We all fear things we don’t understand. What is your deepest fear? Does it make your heart race; hands tremble or knees feel weak?

Join us as we investigate the science behind fear. Our NEW Life Lab experience features interactives that explore different phobias and how your body responds to these fears. This new four-month program will include hands-on immersion labs such as a Germ Factory, a Grossology Lab, a Final 48 crime solving forensics lab, and a DNA & Fear lab. It will also feature simulated fear experiences and an ongoing series of moderated fear discussions for museum visitors of all ages.

Together, we will explore the body’s physiological responses to fear as well as the psycho-social triggers that ignite fear in individuals and communities. Whether you are a thrill-seeker or faint-at-heart, we invite you to come face-to-face with your own fears.
