LEGO Engineering Workshop

Kids can build their own Alien Engineer LEGO figure as they learn about the different processes used to make custom LEGO figures. Kids can apply their own decal to the figure and see vacuum forming and pressure casting demonstrations. When finished they will be able to take home their custom LEGO figurine attached to a vacuum formed gear!

About the Workshop

Age requirements: Children 8 and up with accompanying adult (younger siblings will not be allowed in the Maker Annex workshop space and must be accompanied by another adult)
Fee: $5 through advance, online-only registration per child, non-refundable (registration link below). Please note, this workshop registration fee is in addition to your $10 general admission fee.
Workshop length: 50 minutes
Wavier: A waiver MUST be signed by a parent/legal guardian prior to participation. It is available here, or can be completed at the Museum prior to workshop.

Closed Mondays. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Easter Sunday.
General Admission: $17 per person and $16 for seniors 65 years and older. FREE for children under one and Museum Members. Free Hours: FREE FAMILY NIGHT: Thursdays 5 pm - 8 pm.
