Lecture: Thinking Inside the Box with Curator Josh Fischer
Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016
06:30 PM
US/Central
Curator Josh Fischer will discuss the various ways installation artists approach the white cube gallery space, often using inexpensive, discarded materials. Drawing from historical examples, his work at Rice Gallery, and CAMH's exhibition flow 流 by Jae Ko, Fischer will talk about the creative ingenuity behind these spatial/material transformations and the unique qualities of these artist-created environments.
