Jennie C. Jones: Compilation

Friday, Dec. 11, 2015

06:30 PM – 09:00 PM
US/Central

Jennie C. Jones: Compilation is a mid-career survey that chronicles Jones’s practice over a fifteen-year period and includes her iconic Acoustic paintings, works on paper, and sculpture, as well as sound and installation work.

The exhibition will also debut a suite of new Acoustic Paintings, along with a site-specific installation created for the survey and subsequent tour. Her work has also expanded to be site responsive, and she uses the metaphor of music notation to echo the architecture of the site–ostensibly adapting to the architecture of other museum sites.
