Have you ever stopped to wonder about toads? Come wander with us to learn all about these awesome amphibians! Build toad abodes and participate in an on grounds toad tracking program. Record data, meet an animal ambassador, and learn how to create a successful toad habitat for your backyard!

This program will be held at the Red Pavilion in the Children’s Zoo from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on April 20, 2017. A mid-morning snack will be provided, a Zoo tour is incorporated into the lesson, and an animal ambassador will be met during the program. Registration for the event includes admission to the Houston Zoo.

Albert & Ethel Herzstein Trading Post
Feeling the need for a sweet treat? Here’s your place. Located at the entrance of African Forest, the Trading Post offers Dole Whips as well as a variety of other snacks and treats, including cookies, large pretzels, and popcorn. You’ll also find beverages like soda, juice and Saint Arnold beer.
