Rienzi and Bayou Bend host great conversations about good books! The History Book Club features discussions about lifestyles and culture in America and Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries, led by Museum staff.

This time out, explore the history of Elizabeth Stuart—the Winter Queen—and her four highly educated and accomplished daughters. Read Nancy Goldstone’s family saga Daughters of the Winter Queen: Four Remarkable Sisters, the Crown of Bohemia, and the Enduring Legacy of Mary, Queen of Scots. Then meet up with other book lovers at Rienzi to share your thoughts.

Drop in! This program is free.
