06:30 PM – 08:00 PM
US/Central
Presented by:
• Lorenzo Cohen, professor and director, Integrative Medicine Program, MD Anderson Cancer Center
• Alison Jefferies, educator and author
Discover the link between lifestyle, cancer prevention, and overall health in this special program! Lorenzo Cohen and Alison Jefferies present research and recommendations for anti-cancer living, and, in collaboration with MFAH docents, they link this lifestyle with works of art in the galleries. The evening also includes samples of nutritious foods and plant-based recipes from Pat Greer’s Kitchen.
Following the presentation, guests can enjoy an interactive, docent-guided tour to further explore the concept of healthful and artful living throughout history, as depicted in the works on view in the exhibition Two Centuries of American Still-Life Painting: The Frank and Michelle Hevrdejs Collection.
This program is free! Reserve your spot: RSVP to [email protected]. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
