Peek inside Mind–Body Medicine and learn how we leverage 50 years of science from the West and 5,000 years of wisdom from the East to encourage and train you as the medicine maker!

What is Mind–Body Medicine?

Mid–Body Medicine, like any other medicine, changes the physiology and the psychology of the user. For self-care, it offers an immediate and long-term approach to the mental, physical, and emotional balance we all need, seek, and find so elusive. Mind–Body Medicine also addresses some of the social determinants of health, like the ways in which emotional, mental, social, spiritual, experiential, and behavioral factors can directly affect health. We learn how thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and attitudes can positively or negatively affect our biological and psychological functioning.

Why Mind–Body Medicine?

  • Are you unhealthy or need to heal?
  • Are you dealing with a unique physical, mental, or life condition?
  • Are you healthy and wish to remain that way for the rest of your life?
  • Are you an athlete, executive, parent, or "regular Joe" who simply wishes to function at your best?

Life is wonderful and often challenging. Mind–Body–Breath, our Three Forever Friends, give us the tools with which to navigate life. Managing yourself to meet the ever-changing demands of life is a challenge that each of us faces daily. Many of us desire change, improvement, and growth, but few of us learn to use the power that we inherently possess.

Why Develop a Personal Practice?

Stress, trauma, change, and hardship visit us all. Each of us faces unique challenges with managing ourselves as effectively as we might like. Using Mind–Body Medicine for the improvement of your life is an acquired skill; once learned, it can never be taken from you. Developing practical, everyday self-care skills to better manage yourself in response to life is a necessity, not a luxury. A personal practice is designed to empower the human potential we all have to heal ourselves, live well, and govern ourselves more effectively.

What Will You Learn?

  • Mind–Body Medicine applied.
  • The power of your own potential.
  • Practical, evidence-based Mind–Body Medicine skills you can use now.
  • How Qigong, Tai Chi, and Meditation can be used to access the healing potential that resides organically within each of us.
  • Why Meditation, Qigong, Tai Chi, and other forms of Mind–Body Medicine are tools for your own practice of self-care.

Our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and attitudes can positively or negatively affect our biology and our psychology. Each of us has the power to manifest the change we want to see. We do it for ourselves using our mind, body, and breath. This is your opportunity to take a peek inside to see how.

We all want to improve our health, experience prosperity, alleviate pain, overcome stress, sleep better, and live happier. Life is teaching us the hard way that self-care is a necessity. Science and history prove that it works. The good news is that anyone can learn to more effectively use their mind, body, and breath to improve their own health, attitude, and effectiveness in life.
