Each spring, the Glassell Junior School awards scholarships through an outdoor sketching competition. To participate, students must be 10 to 12 years of age on September 1, 2017. Winners receive a scholarship for a 1.5-hour class beginning in the fall 2017 semester. Upon successful completion of the fall semester, the scholarship continues through the spring of 2018.

All supplies are furnished. Participants sketch the surrounding area under the supervision of Junior School faculty and volunteers. Students may sketch until 12 noon, at which time their drawings are collected. Please note: All drawings become the property of the school and are not returned to the students.
