Kathak and Ghoomar—forms of Indian classical and folk dance—have their roots in ancient northern India. This performance follows the 3 p.m. lecture “Beyond the Surface: Art and Artists at the Jodhpur Court,” in an afternoon of celebration for the exhibition Peacock in the Desert: The Royal Arts of Jodhpur, India.
