Create your own flower arrangement in this workshop inspired by The Glamour and Romance of Oscar de la Renta.

The program begins with an introduction to the exhibition, highlighting the garden and floral inspirations behind Oscar de la Renta’s designs, presented by Cindi Strauss, the Sara and Bill Morgan Curator of Decorative Arts, Craft, and Design. Then, professionals from the Garden Club of Houston and River Oaks Garden Club discuss art and design considerations of floral arranging.

Learn a few approaches to the art form as you discover basic techniques for well-constructed and balanced floral arrangements. Next, create floral masterpieces of your own that you can take home! Tickets include all the tools, flowers, and foliage you’ll need. Following the workshop, you are invited to visit the exhibition.
