Explore the history and types of food in Japanese cuisine, including the ingredients used, how food is prepared, and influences from different aspects of Japanese culture. Learn about the interesting history behind Bento that stretches all the way back to the 17th century, then have fun creating and customizing your own Bento box from fresh ingredients. After the cooking is done, sit back and enjoy eating your delicious handmade Bento together with family and fellow guests. Leave with an appreciation of Japanese food, learn a new skill, and gain a deeper understanding of Japanese people and culture.
