This year, Ganesh Chaturthi—the 10-day Hindu festival that reveres Ganesh, the elephant-headed god known for wisdom and level-headedness—begins on August 25. In anticipation of this annual celebration, families are invited to enjoy an evening at the Museum to learn more about this vibrant and lively tradition!
Join mini yoga sessions, storybook circles, and mini tours; sketch in the galleries; create works of art in the studio; and explore the Arts of India galleries. Recommended for ages 3–12.
Drop in! This program is free with Museum admission. Members and ages 12 & younger always get in free. On Thursdays, Museum admission is free, courtesy of Shell.
