The FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Team will be on hand to answer questions, and you are encouraged to pick up a handy Art Guide to use while wandering through the galleries.

Come hungry, enjoy Boombox Tacos and Froeschl’s Ice Cream.

About the Programs & Activities

Inspired by Amy Blakemore’s photographs in her exhibition People, Cars & Buildings, Sculptures, Flowers, and Junk, the Houston Center for Photography will be showing off Flash Drive, a mobile photography education unit featuring a working camera obscura.

In response to Thedra Cullar-Ledford’s exhibition Lady Part Follies, MD Anderson will provide information about cancer prevention.

Create your own patterned cube after delving into Susie Rosmarin’s op-art exhibition Lines and Grids: The Lost Decade and Beyond.

A Traveling Show is full of text-based artwork and graphic colors. You can make accordion books inspired by the exhibition where you can create your own word play. There are more surprises in store and activities are for kids of all ages!
