The Arts of Asia galleries feature paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and more, spanning the Neolithic period to the Modern eras. Join Beatrice Chan, curatorial assistant, for a 45-minute highlights tour that explores the creation of a 162-foot gunpowder painting, reveals the curatorial thought process behind the recent re-installation of the Arts of Japan gallery, and “rediscovers” important artworks in the collection.
