Join DiverseWorks and choreographer Takahiro Yamamoto on Sunday, October 29th for an evening of food, art and performance centered on the subject of the detour and other influences of Japanese history and culture. This exclusive event includes tickets to the Sunday performance of Yamamoto’s new dance work, Direct Path to Detour, and a cocktail reception and hot pot dinner with the artist and performers, prepared by Chef Jean Philippe Gaston at Izakaya restaurant in Midtown Houston.

- 3 PM: Direct Path to Detour performance, Matchbox 2*
- 4:30 PM – 7 PM: Cocktails & Dinner with the artist and performers at Izakaya

- MetroRail: The MetroRail makes a stop a half-block south of the MATCH at the Ensemble/HCC Station. Mid-Main: Close to the MATCH is the Mid-Main Garage (directly to the south at the corner of Holman and Travis). This garage is accessible through Holman or Travis Street and is open 24 hours. Parking can be paid by credit card or cash at the designated pay machines. And lastly, Street Parking: Metered street parking is available in Midtown. Please read all parking signs carefully, as available street parking changes depending on the time of day.
