HCCC-Museum-Experience-Day (5)

Join HCCC and Lawndale for a day of free family fun, including artist demonstrations, hands-on activities, exhibitions, and tasty treats.

At HCCC, join us for Craft Community Day, featuring local artist guilds and community groups. Visitors of all ages are invited to see craft demonstrations, visit the resident artists’ studios, and view current exhibitions.

Double your fun by checking out Lawndale’s Family Day across the street. From 12 – 2 PM, Lawndale will offer hands-on activities inspired by their winter exhibitions, including Virginia Lee Montgomery’s SKY LOOP and Shawne Major’s Folie a Deux. Their galleries will be open from 11 AM – 5 PM.

Please note:  The HCCC parking lot will be blocked off for demonstrations, but street parking is available nearby.  Craft Community Day replaces Hands-on Houston in March.  HoH will resume in April!
