Dates: Wednesdays, Mar 23 - Apr 13, 5:45 pm-7:15 pm

Discover the inspiring model of conscious capitalism and learn how the companies who practice this operate.

Capitalism can bring blessings or difficulties, depending on the values and goals underpinning the people and organizations embodying it. Conscious capitalism embodies a nobler form of capitalism. It lifts up all of a company’s stakeholders – employees, customers, shareholders, vendors, and community – and respects and cares for the ecosystems in which we live. Recent research shows that, in the long run, these conscious capitalism companies are more successful than their competitors. This course will not examine the economics of the conscious capitalism model. Rather, it will focus on the history of capitalism and the philosophy and development of the conscious capitalism movement.
