BOOKBINDING WORKSHOP

HCCC-ED-Book-binding

Join HCCC staff member and former resident artist Tarina Frank to explore the craft of bookbinding.  In this beginner level workshop, participants will learn how to make a book by folding and sewing paper together with waxed thread, using a long-stitch technique. This technique can be used with various paper types and sizes to create sketchbooks, notebooks, and journals. Participants will leave with a completed and customized book.

No experience is necessary. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Fee includes instructor, materials, and administration fees. The class is for adults only (age 18 and over) and requires a minimum of 12 participants to hold.

Cancellation Policy
Workshops are subject to cancellation or change due to low enrollment. Registrants will be notified fourteen (14) days in advance if the workshop is cancelled by HCCC. If registrants need to cancel their reservation, they must do so at least 14 days in advance to receive a full refund. No refunds will be made for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to workshop date. Please notify HCCC immediately of any cancellations so that someone on the waiting list can attend the workshop.
