This powerful documentary, guided by psychiatrist and author Samah Jabr, considers the impact of decades living in the occupied West Bank and Gaza. Personal testimonials from diverse individuals are enhanced by vividly filmed scenes, presenting a compelling and candid narrative.
About the Director
Alexandra Dols is an author, director, and producer. She cofounded Hybrid Pulse and coproduced and directed several short and two feature documentaries: Moudjahidate (2008) and Beyond the Frontlines (2017). A contributor to French website Le cinéma est politique [Movies are Politics],she also teaches visual literacy. In 2017, she copublished Samah Jabr’s first book with French publishing house PMN Editions.
