Eat, Meet and Move
A lecture by Ashu Sabharwal, Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Rice University and Founding Director, Scalable Health Labs
Diet, activity, and socialization are considered essential foundations for good health at all ages and especially, as we get older. However, automatically measuring these crucial behavioral dimensions of our lives remains largely unsolved. In Rice Scalable Health Labs, Dr. Sabharwal and his team are developing technologies to measure our behaviors and their impact on health. The goal is to open the door to both fundamental new understanding on behavior-biology connections, and new insights on how embedded technologies can improve our health.
Free + open to the public.
