Indian Film Festival Houston 2017 will kick off on October 6th with a cocktail reception, entertainment, and film screenings. The festival will showcase documentaries, shorts, and feature films, along with Q&A sessions with the directors and actors in Asia Society Texas Center's state-of-the-art Brown Foundation Performing Arts Theater. The closing night program will include screenings and Q&A sessions, award distribution, and a cultural entertainment program.

About Indian Film Festival of Houston

Indian Film Festival of Houston (IFFH) Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to education in the fields of film and television and creating a greater appreciation of Indian cinema and culture by showcasing quality films that honor entertainment industry performers and filmmakers while promoting the diverse perspectives of the Indian Diaspora.

IFFH offers events that appeal to cinema buffs and cultural enthusiasts in Houston and beyond. Apart from foreign and domestic visitors, Houston's cultural, educational, and business diversity is also well represented with a significant presence of the Houston consular corps, city officials, Women in Film, the Houston Film Commission, students and faculty from major Houston-area universities, and major corporations. https://iffhinc.org/

AllenEllen Gritz and Milton Rosenau, the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance, and the Anchorage Foundation. Generous funding also provided by AARP, The Clayton Fund, Miller Outdoor Theatre, New England Foundation for the Arts, and through contributions from the Friends of Asia Society, a premier group of individuals and organizations committed to bringing exceptional programming and exhibitions to Asia Society Texas Center.

  • Wednesday, Friday - Sunday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
    Thursday (free admission all day), 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
    Closed Monday and Tuesday and major holidays.
  • Explore Asia Admission: Six interactive stations; includes complimentary access to current exhibition in the Louisa Stude Sarofim Gallery. $15 per guest ages 13 and up. $9 per guest ages 7–12. Free for guests ages 6 and under and for Asia Society members. Louisa Stude Sarofim Gallery Admission Only: $8 per guest. Free for guests ages 6 and under and for Asia Society members.   Free exhibition admission on Thursdays from 12 pm – 7 pm, presented by Regions Bank.
