「帝王品味:臺北國立故宮博物院精品展」將呈現歷代帝王所蒐藏的曠世奇珍。歷經改朝換代,曾經為北京紫禁城所蒐藏;這些中華曠世文物,在戰亂中播遷至臺灣,現正保存於臺北國立故宮博物院中。

這些稀世珍寶在創造之初,鮮見於宮廷之外,蘊含靈氣,耀眼奪目。這批蒐藏品具有獨特的美感、豐潤,充分彰顯中華文物的藝術成就。在此一演講中,策展人屈志仁(James Watt)將帶我們探索宋、元、明、清四朝的9位皇帝對於宮廷中新藝術方向的建立與發展所扮演的不同角色。
